Along with a business meeting, break-out sessions, and an evening banquet, both convention-goers and other volunteers are invited to pack Mercy Meals, a mission of Orphan Grain Train, throughout the day. Depending on the number of volunteers, there will be up to three lines of eight volunteers per line packing each hour (9:00 am – 4:00 pm). It is our hope to pack 24,000+ meals during this event. The cost for the ingredients is around $4000.  Anyone who would like to donate towards this cost is welcome to send checks, payable to MN South Orphan Grain Train, to our treasurer, Darlene Fretham (611 1st Ave NW, Winnebago, MN 56098-1040)

All packing volunteers are invited to any part of the convention. The convention registration fee is waived for packers, but they must pre-register for any convention meals at $20 per meal via lhm-mn-south.org.
