To help you prepare for the retreat, here are some things to keep in mind:
· To officially kick off our event, Friday dinner will be provided for all participants free of additional charge, starting in the hotel’s conference room at 5:45 pm.
· Friday evening social hour and fellowship time will round out our first evening together after Vespers: bring a snack to share, your swimsuit for the hot tub or pool, board or card games for like-minded folks, or just take the time to chat!
· Saturday morning: A complimentary continental breakfast is provided by the hotel. If you are an early riser and want to enjoy a pre-retreat walk, there is usually a group that heads out for a brief stroll (at 7:30 am, or as determined by the group).
We look forward to seeing you at this year’s retreat for an opportunity to hear God’s Word with fellow women of the MN South District and encourage one another in our unique role in the Church. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to be equipped for ministry and everyday life.
Remember to bring the following: Bible, snack to share, board games, cards, swimsuit, walking shoes (for those interested).
NOTE: If you are aware of any MNS clergy wife or fiancée (active or retired) who may not have received this invitation, please pass on this information to her.
