Celebrating our Unity in God’s Mission

When we confess together, “I believe in the Holy Christian Church, the Communion of Saints,” we are confessing our belief that the Holy Spirit has brought us into a sacred union called The Church, namely those who are saved and who confess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The Lord has called us to live and work together to carry out His mission, that is, to make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20), to proclaim the Good News of repentance and forgiveness of sins in Jesus’ name to all nations (Luke 24:47). We do this individually as Christians, together in our local congregations, and together with other congregations as a District. We collaborate to bring unique skills, gifts, and resources together for one purpose – God’s mission.  This edition of Mission Vision News celebrates some of the partners in mission with whom we collaborate in the Minnesota South District.  For each Christian person, each congregation, each mission partner, we give praise and thanks to our God, and pray that He would bless our efforts together in His mission!
