Zion in Hopkins, MN is seeking a passionate and dedicated Christian Lead Teacher to join their educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in childhood development and have experience in classroom management. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of our children, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic, personal, and spiritual growth.

Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with faith-based curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of children.
* Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing positive reinforcement strategies to create a respectful and productive learning atmosphere.
* Provide individualized tutoring and support to children, ensuring their academic success and personal development.
* Collaborate with fellow educators to design lesson plans that enhance a child's engagement and learning outcomes.
* Monitor children's progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to children and parents regarding their performance.
* Organize large motor activities that promote health, fitness, and teamwork among children.
* Maintain open communication with parents regarding a child's academic progress.

Requirements

* A degree or certification in Education or a related field is required, along with relevant teaching experience.
* Proven experience working with children in a classroom setting, demonstrating effective behavior management techniques.
* Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices to support the growth of each child.
* Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively and professionally with children, parents, and colleagues.
