PT Office Manager | Columbia Heights
St Matthew Lutheran Church in Columbia Heights is currently looking for an Office Manager to handle the daily administrative operations of the church and in-house daycare.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing church and daycare finances using QuickBooks, as well as maintaining church records, coordinating church events, and ensuring smooth communication between church and daycare leadership, staff, congregation members and other affected parties.
The Office Manager is expected to support the mission and vision of the church by providing efficient administrative support and fostering a welcoming environment for all who interact with the church office.
Key duties include financial recordkeeping and bill payment, managing the building schedule, handling correspondence, maintaining confidential records, and overseeing office and daycare supplies and equipment.
The Office Manager is responsible for financial record keeping and preparing reports using QuickBooks and Church 360 Software. The role requires excellent organizational and problem solving skills, experience with financial software, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as they will serve as a primary point of contact for church members, volunteers, and external partners. Experience with office management software, budgeting, and event planning is highly desirable.
The Office Manager must demonstrate initiative, discretion, integrity, and a commitment to the values and mission of the church.
