Main Street Living - update

Sundays at 10 a.m. on Channel WFTC 29/9-2

Main Street Living offers a worship experience to the many who cannot, will not, or do not attend worship on a regular basis. Main Street Living airs from 10 to 11 a.m. each Sunday on WFTC channel 29/9-2. The first half hour is re-mastered episodes of the popular “This is the Life” TV series from Lutheran Hour Ministries. The second half hour is a modified Lutheran worship service featuring a message from a different Minnesota pastor each week.

Congregations are encouraged to share information about the program in their weekly bulletins and newsletters. Click here to download the bulletin announcements for February 24 - March 17 that you can copy and paste into your weekly bulletin. Check out the Twin Cities tab of the Main Street Living website for additional information.

If you want more information about this new ministry, please contact Pr. Schulze at the District office. The ministry is looking for lay leaders—and there’s an ongoing search for pastors to preach each Sunday.

Although endorsed by the Minnesota South District, Main Street Living receives no financial backing from the District or Synod. Individuals and church groups finance the program through generous donations.
