Mayer Lutheran High School will dedicate its new, 43,000 square-foot addition on Sunday, September 16 at 4:00 pm at the school’s new north entrance along State Highway 25 in Mayer. After a brief ceremony and ribbon cutting, the school will host an open house with a reception.
The Mayer Lutheran High School addition includes a new entrance on the school’s north side, additional parking, an expanded office suite, a student health suite and athletic training room, student commons area with fireplace, increased accessibility throughout the campus, and a field house complete with four full-size basketball courts and room to host tournaments.
“The dedication event on September 16 will be a terrific time for our community to see the new building and tour the existing campus to learn more about the wonderful things happening at Mayer Lutheran,” explained John Trocke, the school’s Board Chair. “While our facility is a tremendous asset, getting to meet the Mayer Lutheran staff and students at the open house will show just what a precious asset our school is to our region.”
“We are so blessed to be able to improve our campus for our students and our guests,” shared Executive Director Joel Landskroener. “We have needed this additional space for a long time and the final product has certainly exceeded our expectations. It is just beautiful and are grateful for the many supporters who made it happen.”
