Sundays at 10 a.m. on Channel WFTC 29/9-2
Main Street Living is a TV program that has been airing in South Dakota for 17 years. Main Street Living offers a worship experience to the many who cannot, will not, or do not attend worship on a regular basis. Recently, they’ve started expanding the ministry to surrounding areas—including Minnesota South District! Main Street Living will air from 10 to 11 a.m. each Sunday on WFTC channel 29/9-2, starting January 6. The first half hour will be re-mastered episodes of the popular “This is the Life” TV series from Lutheran Hour Ministries. The second half hour will be a modified Lutheran worship service featuring a message from a different Minnesota pastor each week.
Congregations are encouraged to share information about the program leading up to its launch and once it launches. Click here for weekly bulletin announcements through February 17 that you can copy and paste into your weekly bulletin. Check out the Twin Cities tab of the Main Street Living website for additional information.
Although endorsed by the Minnesota South District, Main Street Living receives no financial backing from the District or Synod. Individuals and church groups finance the program through generous donations.
