congregation Resources / Grants
The Minnesota South District welcomes grant applications for campus ministry and deaf ministry programs and activities. Applications are considered quarterly by the District's Missions Committee. Questions about how to apply should be sent to Dr. William Utech.
Examples of previously-funded grants:
- Hosanna, Mankato; closed-captioning software and an American Sign Language interpreter
- University Lutheran Chapel, Minneapolis; campus evangelist
- River of Life, St. Peter; expanded worship space
Mission Formation Grants
Grants are available for congregations to attend conferences and events that promote congregations aligning themselves with God's mission. Examples of past grants include support to attend Best Practices in Ministry, The LCMS Rural/Small-Town Ministry Conference, and The LCMS Connect to Disciple workshop.
